Artist of the Soul

That is a great question!

I am a singer/songwriter and an amateur photographer. I also enjoy many other artistic outlets including writing, crafts, etc. Thus, I consider myself an artist.

Since I am a follower of Christ, everything that I do is tinted by the shades of the Kingdom. I am concerned with the things of the soul, and all of my artistic ventures have spiritual significance and value. Therefore, I consider myself to be not just an artist, but an artist of the soul.

As an artist of the soul, I am only an ambassador of the ultimate Artist the Soul. That artist is God himself! He is the Creator of the universe. We can see His magnificent workmanship in nature and in ourselves. He has crafted us after His image as unique individuals with unique gifts and an ability to imagine and create. So, we are not only artists, we are also artwork!! I find that truly fascinating!
